We were absolutely delighted to welcome so many volunteers, friends, supporters and dignitaries to our commissioning service at Guildford Cathedral at the beginning of November. The Cathedral graciously let us join in their evening service, where the Homily, which included references to the work of our three projects, was kindly made by the Venerable Stuart Beake. Our patron and supporter Michael More-Molyneux, Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, of the Surrey Lieutenancy read the Old Testament lesson. Also participating in the event were Chief Superintendent of Surrey Police, Mark Chapman, Deputy Mayor, Councillor Howard Smith, Guildford MP, Zöe Franklin, Peter Rudkin, representing Guildford Philanthropy and our own Chaplain, Rev Noelle Coe.
We were delighted that so many people took the time to join us and celebrate the amazing work that our volunteers do across the streets, homes and workplaces of Guildford. If you would like to join our 130 strong team of volunteers, select the project page and use the contact button.
