We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Millmead Baptist Church family for their wonderful support of October’s Quiz Night in aid of Guildford Town Centre Chaplaincy (GTCC) — the charitable home of Guildford Street Angels, Community Angels, and our Volunteer Chaplains.
It was a fantastic evening, with around 120 friends, volunteers, and church members gathering to enjoy a delicious meal followed by a lively ten-round quiz. Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who made the event such a success: to Millmead for generously hosting, to Ruth Heaton, her amazing family and friends for providing the meal, to caretaker James for his technical expertise, and to quizmaster Michael Tame and his daughter for creating such an entertaining and thought-provoking quiz.
We were absolutely thrilled to raise nearly £3,000 over the course of the evening — an incredible result that will help us continue reaching some of the most vulnerable people in our community. Whether it’s on the streets late at night, in people’s homes, workplaces, or GP surgeries, your support enables us to be there with care, compassion, and hope.

Thank you once again to everyone involved for your generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit.
