Guildford Town Centre Chaplaincy
Welcome to GTCC, a charity established by the Churches of Guildford to care for people in our town centre.
The Town Centre Chaplaincy has two main aims:
- Enhance understanding, trust and cooperation between communities of work, faith, leisure and society;
- Provide a caring, listening and supportive presence for anyone who lives in, works in or visits the town centre.

All three projects aim to support people in different ways:
All three projects aim to support people in different ways:
- Care on the streets – Street Angels are out in the town during the night caring for people who become vulnerable for whatever reason
- Care in your home – Community Angels offer friendship and support to people who are lonely and isolated within their own homes
- Care in your workplace – Volunteer Chaplains visit people where they work to offer a listening ear, care and support for whatever issues people are facing
